One year on and Ukraine stands defiant. Proving strong beyond all expectations. Holding up under unimaginable pressures. And our hopes for the Ukrainian people hold up too. A small gesture of solidarity, we made this column to express that hope. It too can take weight beyond belief. It may crumble at the surface but it can always be retouched, repaired. It can be rebuilt. With its own material. While it stands unyielding. Fired chamotte grazes scar the earth but the pillar of strength remains unburned.
